When life stops...

They were young as we are. They were eager for life just as we are. And all of a sudden they met their fate.

We here at Euroscola feel very sorry about the death of the Erasmus students and the other passengers. We had all been enjoying our festival Fallas here in Valencia, waiting for winter to end and for the summer to start off with some great Easter Holidays. It seemed so unreal; people like us enjoying what we are so proud of, but never to return to their homes. Our European agencies immediately started to help the survivors and their families, and the families of the victims were accompanied through their nightmare. Sometimes that's what being part of Europe means: being a helping hand in the worst moments.

We will keep on fighting for a future, for us and for them.

Rest in Peace.
